It is unfortunate but not surprising that so many brands essentially tell little white lies about their products just so they can label themselves as a mental health / wellbeing / wellbeauty, it's crude business and lacks depth. The hardest part is people still lap it up, so finding a good balance is key. Imagine pitching to VC's / investors about a 'mental well-being brand' for example, a Peppa pig style pitch deck might be needed here.
